Frame and album print

Resize a Photo to 3 × 4 Inch (900 × 1200 px)

The 3 × 4 inch print is the classic album and small-frame size, and stamp-size photos in many Indian applications ask for the same ratio.

Open the MM resizer
Type 76.2 × 101.6 mm at 300 DPI | the spec line confirms 900 × 1200 px.

At the print standard of 300 DPI, 3 × 4 inch means exactly 900 × 1200 pixels. Upload anything smaller and the printer silently upscales it into mush; upload a different ratio and the lab crops your subject without asking.

The millimetre resizer crops to the true 3:4 aspect with focus sliders, so you decide what stays in frame, then scales to 900 × 1200 and writes real DPI metadata. Print drivers read the file as a physical 3 × 4 inch sheet, not a pile of pixels.

Prefer a ready preset? The 4R preset (102 × 152 mm) covers the slightly larger standard print, and the custom fields accept any inch-to-mm size you need.

What is 3 × 4 inch in pixels?
Exactly 900 × 1200 at 300 DPI. For web display at 96 DPI the same sheet is 288 × 384 px.
Is 3 × 4 the same as 4 × 6?
No | 4 × 6 inch (4R) is the standard lab print at 1200 × 1800 px. 3 × 4 is smaller and slightly less wide relative to its height.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Every pixel is processed by JavaScript inside your own browser tab | nothing is sent to a server, stored or logged, which matters when the file is an ID photo or signature.
