Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Short, honest terms for a site whose whole promise is that your documents stay on your device.

1. Agreement

By using pdfpixel.tech you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, simply do not use the site — nothing is installed, registered or subscribed, so there is nothing to cancel.

2. What PdfPixel is

PdfPixel is a set of free, browser-based PDF and document tools. Twenty-one tools are live today and more are being released over time. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. There is no account, no subscription, no watermark and no usage quota.

3. Your files and your responsibility

4. Acceptable use

Please do not: attack, overload or attempt to breach the site or its host; scrape or bulk-download the content to republish it; resell the service as your own; or use the tools in a way that breaks the law where you live. Because files are processed locally, you are solely responsible for having the right to work with the documents you open — including any password-protected or third-party material.

5. Intellectual property

The PdfPixel name, logo, interface, source code, guides and articles belong to PdfPixel and are protected by copyright. You may use the site freely and share links to it, but you may not copy the site itself or its written content wholesale. Files you process are a separate matter entirely: they are yours, always.

6. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose. PDF is a permissive format and edge cases exist (broken cross-reference tables, unusual font encodings, encrypted streams, scanned pages). We work hard on correctness and tell you what each tool does, but you should verify important output before relying on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PdfPixel is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the site — including lost data, lost time or business interruption. Since the service is free and no personal data is held by us, this is not an attempt to dodge responsibility: it is the honest boundary of a tool that never touches your files.

8. Availability and changes

We may add tools, change features, or take the site down for maintenance at any time. Tools that are planned but not yet released appear as “Soon” cards in the grid; a tool is only labelled LIVE once it actually works.

9. Third-party services

The site uses Google Analytics for aggregate statistics, relies on Cloudflare for hosting and delivery, and shows disabled placeholders for Google Drive and Dropbox. Those third parties are governed by their own terms. How this affects your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Where local consumer law gives you stronger rights, nothing here overrides them.

11. Contact

Anything unclear, or a dispute to raise: [email protected].

Terms questions answered

Do you own the PDFs I create with PdfPixel?
No. Your documents and everything you produce from them remain entirely yours. We claim no licence over your files, and because they are never uploaded we technically could not use them even if we wanted to.
Is there a hidden limit or a paid plan later?
No. The tools are free with no account, no page cap, no watermark and no premium tier. If that ever changes, it will be announced here and existing free behaviour will not be retroactively locked away.
What happens if a tool produces a file I did not expect?
PDF is an old, loosely-specified format: unusual fonts, damaged cross-reference tables, encrypted files and scanned pages can all behave differently. Always keep the original and check the output — the software is provided as-is, without warranty.
